TLDR: CBS Sports is using technology innovations in its presentation of Super Bowl 63, including the use of cameras inside the uprights to capture close-up shots of field goal attempts. The network will also have six 4K cameras in each goalpost, as well as augmented reality cameras that will be used in collaboration with Nickelodeon to bring fictional characters SpongeBob SquarePants and Patrick Star into the broadcast.
