Brian Gillen revs up Norton Motorcycles as Chief Technology Officer.

Brian Gillen, former R&D director of MV Agusta, has been appointed as Chief Technology Officer of Norton Motorcycles. Gillen brings over a decade of experience with MV Agusta, where he was responsible for developing some of the brand’s most popular models. His appointment comes as Norton Motorcycles enters its expansion phase, with plans to fix issues with the current lineup and expand its dealership network. Gillen will be tasked with developing the brand’s next-generation models, which are expected to include both electric and internal-combustion models. Norton Motorcycles is also aiming for global expansion, which will require compliance with varying regulations and safety standards in different markets. Norton CEO Dr. Robert Hentschel has expressed confidence in Gillen’s abilities, stating that he has rich experience and expertise in engine and vehicle design, emerging technologies, and connectivity. Gillen is looking forward to working with Norton’s team of engineers to develop cutting-edge, premium motorcycles.
