The partnership aims to develop and produce a specialized space battery to improve CubeSat applications for Voyager. The initial phase of the contract, expected to be completed by April 2024, has already seen the delivery of a prototype battery in late 2023. This collaboration highlights KULR’s ability to meet stringent project requirements within a short timeframe, positioning their battery technology to power next-generation satellite applications. The CEO of KULR, Michael Mo, and Voyager Space’s Director of Advanced Concepts, Robbie Harris, both emphasized the importance of pushing the boundaries of battery technology to ensure safety, reliability, and performance. KULR’s ONE Space Platform, designed to meet NASA’s standards for manned spaceflight, is expected to make a significant impact in the aerospace sector.
